@josefina Ich weiß nicht, ob Elser etwas hätte erreichen können. Aber heute fällt mir leider beim besten Willen keine Person ein, dessen Tod den Faschismus aufhalten könnte. Auch keine zehn Personen. Es ist eine gesellschaftliche Tendenz, die nicht ohne gesellschaftliche Veränderungen umgekehrt werden kann.

Cory Doctorow @pluralistic is doing another Kickstarter for his next Marty Hench novel Picks & Shovels, about the early PC era!
These kickstarters are great and how I get his books in ebook and audio book form, which if you know him they of course come with no DRM. You don't have to download an app, you just get sent files that are yours forever and can put them on any device.
@RadicalEdward@pluralistic You had me at "No DRM". I backed all three ebooks and audio books. WilW is just the icing on the cake.
I will need to make a new rule, "no AI will be used to promote or organize any of the events I'm taking part in".

La stratégie que je souhaite donc tester est de sortir de l’objet tout-en-un pour avoir à la place un téléphone “qui fait le taf” et un bon appareil photo ultra-compact. Chacun ayant son propre cycle de vie.
Comme les appareils photos récents se connectent via wifi ou bluetooth à un téléphone, je n’arrive pas à évaluer si cette idée — totalement rétrograde — sera pesante ou non au quotidien. Mais je crois que cela vaut la peine d’essayer.

Quitte à créer quelque chose de nouveau, à mon sens :
- le plus logique serait de permettre de créer des instances par grande thématique scientifique/communauté de recherche (par exemple pilotées par les associations représentatives de ces communautés). Ainsi le fil d'instance aurait une pertinence assez optimale.
- le plus pratique serait des instances par établissement/labo, mais là le fil d'instance perd en pertinence.
Par contre un truc qui centralise toute l'#ESR, je ne suis pas convaincu.
