@roaldarboel@autopilot@jonny I have the same question. Was thinking of giving @autopilot a try, but love the online tracking features of Bonsai, which enable closed loop experiments for me. I can't afford more Basler cameras at the moment and so the Rpi suddenly becomes very attractive.

@horst@autopilot@jonny I mean, I’d go with the RPi most days now. The amount of different camera options is amazing (IR, global shutter, HQ, combos of the above), and as previously mentioned, dual recordings was a pressing point for me earlier (had to use extra USB webcams to allow multiple sync’ed recordings), but now with 2 cameras lines, I’m looking forward to playing with that (probably not until I start a post doc).
Re autopilot, I know it’s getting a major revamp. One of the things I discussed early on with @jonny was the option of *just* having the single Pi, and not having to use separate leader/follower devices. How does that look now?
