So sorry - so hard to clean up broken glass, plus the time/energy to find a replacement 😢
@blogdiva This is why I bought a stainless steel one. As someone who typically brews several pots a day I cannot recommend it more highly. It's also pretty well insulated which is a nice bonus. I dropped it on the floor once and my first thought was "oh shit is the floor OK??" (Both the floor and the press were perfectly fine.)

@blogdiva time to pull out your backup coffee press! I was really sad when I broke my half-size one because I didn't have a spare in that size, and making a half pot in the full size press always runs the risk of me overflowing my big mug.
