Enjoying a teenage hobby I retook in 2019, but now with a proper license and call sign and more than 40 years older. Struggling to improve my CW and enjoying SOTA and QRP, and more recently satellites. I love the 4 m band when it's open; 6 m is good too! PMR446 as a gateway to ham radio. Proprietary digital modes (DMR, YSF, ROS, VARAC, LoRa...) are not proper ham radio (ask me why).

Licensed since 1967. Boise, Idaho, USA. Doing a lot of wireless IoT professionally (mainly BLE). Working on getting back on the air, with a magnetic loop this time. Like SWL'ing and CW.
