Rudy Rucker has published about forty books. Some are pop science, but most are literary SF novels in the cyberpunk and transreal styles. He got Philip K. Dick awards for Software and Wetware. He has a Ph.D. in math. He was a CS prof in Silicon Valley for 20 years. These days he paints a lot, and sells the works online.
