I’m finally here, to see if I like it..
I work for a train company and love travelling by trains. So far the furthest place we’ve been to by train is Italy and we’re hoping to go to Greece one day.
I love being surrounded by nature and animals, especially cows and horses.
I like to plan/organise our trips, holidays and judge the hotels.
I’m very fussy to the point that @alan created the website Too Fussy, which I’m hoping to start work on from next year. My aim is to build an equal point system for stars for hotels as at the moment they vary across all the countries in Europe.
I love to relax in a good spa or by throwing an axe, in which I’m quite good!

Officially a "lord', but only because I bought the rights to a minuscule plot in the castle grounds of a place called "Chaol Ghleann". I don't even know where it is.

Can be very sarcastic. Someone once told me that “sarcasm is the lowest form of wit” so I’m pleased that at least one person finds me funny.

I enjoy travelling, cycling (but only during warmer months) and playing around with Linux on a very basic level. I’ve managed to set up Pi Hole, send pager messages from a Raspberry Pi, host a private PBX and a few other online services. I ran the former Akkoma instance, Blimey Social, and run this Sharkey instance.
