Someone mentioned I should port the bot to BlueSky. I have a placeholder there with zero posts. I don't feel motivated to start again on someone else's server, so I was lazy and did a bridge at https://bsky.app/profile/bbcmicrobot.mastodon.me.uk.ap.brid.gy instead. So that basically mirrors what happens here.
Are bridges annoying? Maybe?
I mean, bots scraping one site to post on another seem inherently a negative thing, but it is essentially an advert for Mastodon as the BlueSky side isn't interactive
