I'm struggling with the feeling that there must be something useful to be gained from this recent AI activity. But when I really dig in, all I find are LLMs with their obvious limitations, serious moral and ethical problems, and no use cases I can identify that justify the costs. @emilymbender and @timnitGebru have helped me cut through the noise.
Serious question, friends: in the absence of moral and ethical showstoppers, what are some compelling use cases?
