I don't agree with the UK government and police view that anti-genocide protests scheduled this weekend should be postponed. The government is drawing a connection between the tragedy in Manchester and anti-genocide protest that is entirely wrong, and dangerous.

In my view, opposing genocide is at one with opposing any killing of innocent people, and therefore a real expression of support for the loved ones of those killed - in Manchester or in Gaza.
