you really thought that the corporate world would allow themselves not to profit from all that data being generated every second across the internet?
that they would just encrypt everything and it would just say "blah blah blah bla blah whut......" when they login and pull the database?
when you all were screaming "less regulation....!" you were just saying "look the other way because you want a job......"
Please don't disconnect us in that case but practice civil resistance by keeping a secure option running even if you need to defy an unjust "law" for it.
We stand with @signalapp and all who defend digital rights. Germany’s 🇩🇪 leadership on privacy has been crucial now is not the time to waver. The right to private communication isn’t negotiable.

@signalapp Sadly, liberal Germans have been forced to watch the Bavarian far-right party CSU's political plans get blocked by the German Federal Constitutional Court and the European Court of Justice for decades. This was already the case with data retention for telecommunications and the monitoring of IT devices via Trojan horses.
The Minister of Justice is against chat monitoring, but is unable to push her views through. The Chancellor is in favour of it.
