...and what have we got from that huge investment? Avoidable knowledge blackouts 🙃

if you're wondering why I'm quoting such old data from 2010-2014 its because agreements between academic publishers and UK universities are often signed under non-disclosure agreements and so the info is hard to get (probably tacit acknowledgement of what poor value these contracts are!)
